Purchasing Outdoor Advertising :
- Tour your market area and make notes of the boards on which you would be interested in having your advertising messages posted. Most companies number their boards so make note of them if available. Contact your outdoor sales representative and he will be able to discuss board availability and the number needed to reach your goals. .
- Ask for boards located on major traffic routes and where traffic is required to stop.
- Request boards located on right-hand side of road, no more than 400 feet from traffic and at a 30 degree angle from the roadway.
- Remember printed boards should be reposted every 30 to 60 days
in order to look their best.
- Painted boards and computer printed vinyl boards are most effective for delivering long term messages, lasting up to one year.
- Make sure all your requests are included in writing on your advertising insertion order or the outdoor advertising contract. If they do not follow your instructions, you are entitled to some cost adjustments.
Special Tip!!!
- Use Billboard Designs for Fronts of Direct Mail Postcards...
- Ask the outdoor advertising company to give the digital files of your billboards.
